![]() ![]() Chapter 5 is concerned with field-effect transistors. Chapters 3 and 4 are devoted to junction transistor characteristics, transistor biasing and amplification. Diode applications are treated in Chapter 2. Chapter 1 deals with semiconductor diodes. The objective-type and the review questions included in the book reflect the type of questions set in different examinations. The answers to such problems are given for the benefit of the students. Many of these problems are worked out, and the rest are left as exercises for the students. ![]() Numerical problems which are typically set in examinations are included in the book to illustrate the application of the principles contained in the text.
